Teleios Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Teleios Health charges $99 a month for compounded semaglutide, and its FAQ says that price includes the medication, provider consultations and shipping. There's no membership fee and no shipping charge. Compounded tirzepatide costs the same $99 a month, on the same terms.

Teleios doesn't publish a dose-by-dose price list or say whether $99 holds as your dose climbs. That's the first thing to ask, along with how long the price is guaranteed. It also doesn't describe plan lengths or how often you're billed. Get both answers in writing.

Teleios is a technology platform. The prescribing is done by Lion MD, a nationwide group of licensed clinicians led by Dr. Ana Lisa Carr and Dr. Kelly Tenbrink. You fill out a health questionnaire that takes about two minutes, a provider licensed in your state reviews it, and if you're approved, the medication ships with instructions and supplies. Teleios says approved orders ship within five to seven business days, with tracking by email.

Its FAQ names five partner compounding pharmacies, and the one used for your order is printed on the prescription label. Teleios says it serves all 50 states, though specific medications can vary by state. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

• Not approved: Teleios says you get a full refund.
• Approved, then you change your mind: you can get your money back, minus a $50 professional fee, but only if you email within 24 hours of the provider's review. After that, a refund may not be honored.
• Medication dispensed: no refund. Concerns about the medication go to the dispensing pharmacy within 48 hours.
• Marked delivered: Teleios won't reship a package the courier records as delivered, so make sure someone can receive it.

That 24-hour window is short. If you're undecided, don't complete the review until you are.

Ask whether the $99 price is the same at every dose, how billing renews, and how to cancel future shipments. None of that is spelled out publicly. Teleios's homepage leans on clinical-trial figures for brand-name drugs, which don't describe what any one person can expect from a compounded version.
