Alloy Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Alloy Weight Care is $99 a month, and the medication is billed on top. That's why the "starting at" prices in its ads look lower than what you'll actually pay. Add the two together and the monthly floor is $169 for compounded semaglutide and $199 for compounded tirzepatide, both at the starting dose.

Those are entry prices, so expect the drug cost to rise as your dose goes up. New customers can take $50 off the first month of the care fee with a promo code, but it applies once. From month two the full $99 is back.

Alloy is built around women in perimenopause and menopause, and its doctors are board-certified physicians trained in menopause care. The care fee pays for unlimited messaging with your doctor, wellness check-ins, side-effect management, dose adjustments and long-term planning. Delivery is free.

You start with a 5 to 10 minute questionnaire, and Alloy says a doctor gets back to you with a plan in under 12 hours. If you're approved, the medication ships to your door, and monthly refills and dose changes run through your dashboard. The compounded versions are made by licensed compounding pharmacies, which Alloy doesn't name, and they allow lower starting doses and slower increases. If you already take hormone therapy, the same doctor can manage both.

Alloy's menopause care is offered in all 50 states, but weight care isn't. It can't serve weight care patients in Louisiana or Mississippi. In Alabama, Arkansas, California, Nevada and Washington, DC, it offers FDA-approved medications only, so the compounded and microdosed options aren't available there. Insurance isn't part of the weight program, so plan on paying cash.

The membership renews automatically. Alloy's terms say to cancel at least seven days before the end of your billing period, either from your account dashboard or by emailing support. Shipments are a separate clock: pause or cancel requests have to be in five business days before the next shipment processes.

Refunds are narrow. Membership and consultation fees aren't refundable. Prescription products can't be returned once dispensed, and only the first shipment of each product is eligible for any refund. Medication bought straight from a drugmaker program, such as LillyDirect, isn't refunded by Alloy. If a box arrives damaged or never shows up, you have 14 days to ask for a replacement.
