Coivas Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Coivas sells two compounded GLP-1 plans: semaglutide and tirzepatide, both weekly injections. Tirzepatide is $199 a month. Semaglutide is shown with a "from" price, so the figure you start on may not be the one you pay later. Coivas says the price varies with your medication and plan, and that a change in dose, titration, plan length or your provider's recommendation can change your monthly price. You review and approve the price before you're charged.

Its FAQ also says your price is locked in as long as you stay on the same medication and plan. Read those two statements together: the lock holds only until your plan changes, so ask what you'll pay at the dose you're likely to reach.

The monthly price includes the consultation, the prescription, the medication and free shipping. There's no membership fee and no insurance billing. A daily GLP-1 tablet is listed as coming soon.

Coivas is a platform, not a medical practice or a pharmacy. Its FAQ names Beluga Health, a provider group based in Houston, as its clinical provider. You start with a short eligibility questionnaire, a licensed clinician reviews your history, and if more information is needed you'll be asked to book a brief virtual appointment. If you're already on a GLP-1 elsewhere, you can send proof of your prescription and may be able to continue at your current dose.

Prescriptions are filled by state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies or 503B outsourcing facilities, depending on your location, medication and availability. Coivas doesn't name them. Once your prescription reaches the pharmacy, medication typically arrives in one to three business days. Coivas says it serves all 50 states, and you can message your clinician through your dashboard.

Coivas advertises "guaranteed or it's free." The terms tie that to at least six months in a row of paid enrollment, for new customers only. You qualify for a refund only if, at the end of that period, your verified weight is the same as or higher than your starting weight. Losing even a little weight rules it out.

The other conditions are strict too. You need continuous enrollment with no pause or missed payment, every refill form on time, compounded medication only (no brand-name drugs or microdosing), and a claim within 40 days of your last shipment, backed by a verified weight such as a clinician's written attestation. The refund covers subscription fees only, not pharmacy, lab or consultation fees.

You can cancel anytime in your patient portal. Cancel before your next shipment is processed, or the cancellation only applies to the following cycle. Fees already charged are generally kept, though Coivas reviews refunds case by case if no prescription is issued, and refunds a consultation that never happened. Shipped medication can't be returned. Report a wrong or damaged order within seven days.

Coivas' terms name WellVi LLC as the company doing business as Coivas, while its return policy names Coivas Health, Inc. in New York. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide aren't FDA-approved.
