WeighLab is written and maintained by The WeighLab Bench, our Tools & Data Desk: an independent desk that models the real monthly cost and value of GLP-1 programs with transparent, auditable calculators — so you can weigh the tradeoffs on the numbers, not the marketing.

We are not clinicians and we do not practice medicine. What we publish is consumer cost analysis. Every clinical statement on the site is carried by a named primary source, not by our own authority: research is cited by the study itself (authors, journal, year and PubMed identifier), and a drug's approval status or labeling is cited to the FDA record. If a question needs a clinician's judgment rather than a source, we say so.

WeighLab is not a medical provider, pharmacy or telehealth company. Beyond standard affiliate agreements, it is not owned by, or formally affiliated with, any provider, pharmacy or drug manufacturer.

• Models the real cost. Our calculators turn a provider's listed monthly price into a monthly and a twelve-month figure, so a teaser rate and a flat rate can be compared on the same line.
• Scores every provider the same way. Our provider reviews use the same 100-point rubric on the Cost-Efficiency Index: normalized cost/month, price transparency, nationwide access, formulation options, clinical oversight, contract flexibility. Low scores stay low, and we say why.
• Screens for FDA warning letters. Every month the whole provider list is checked against the FDA's warning-letter register. Verified letters are disclosed in provider reviews, whether or not we earn anything from them.
• Keeps the links honest. Outbound provider links are swept on the same cadence, so we are not sending you to a company that has gone dark.

Prices come from each company's own public website. Each figure is stamped with the month we read it, and that date is printed on the review, so you can see how fresh a number is instead of assuming.

Telehealth prices change often. When a provider changes its own price, we re-check it and update the figure. When a figure was wrong at the time we published it, that is a correction, and it goes in the public log described below. Always confirm the current price on the provider's site before you pay.

WeighLab is reader-supported. When you follow a provider link and sign up, we may earn a commission through our affiliate partners on the Katalys network. The provider pays it, not you, and your price is the same either way. We have commercial relationships with some providers; treat any provider link on the site as one that may pay us.

A commission never moves a score or a price: the Index is printed unmodified for every provider. It does decide placement: on the leaderboard and on every board, providers we have a commercial relationship with are listed first as a group, and the rows below them follow the page's own order, such as lowest twelve-month cost on the cost boards. Every row shows its score, so you can always read down the numbers rather than the order. The full terms are in our affiliate disclosure.
