Ascend Vitality Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Ascend Vitality sells three compounded GLP-1s: semaglutide by weekly injection, semaglutide as a daily tablet, and tirzepatide by weekly injection. Each has two plans.

• One month, billed monthly. Semaglutide injections are $199 a month on this plan. The tablets cost the same as the injection month to month, and tirzepatide costs more.
• Three months, charged as one payment once you're prescribed. It works out much cheaper per month. For semaglutide injections it's about half the monthly rate.

Both plans include the provider's evaluation, unlimited messaging with your provider, dose adjustments and free expedited shipping. Ascend says there's no membership fee on top. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and there's no insurance billing.

The site also advertises a code for 15% off with free shipping. It doesn't say whether the discount covers more than the first order, so check what your renewal will be at checkout.

Every plan includes access to Ascend Vitality Connect, a private patient community. It offers one-on-one coaching, meal plans and workouts matched to your medication, weekly check-ins for weight, mood and side effects, and a library of guides. Patient support runs around the clock by chat and email.

The same account sells peptide therapy, NAD+, glutathione, and generic sildenafil and tadalafil.

The online visit takes about two minutes and needs no card to start. A U.S.-licensed provider reviews it asynchronously, usually within 24 to 48 hours, with no video visit required and no labs. If you're approved, medication ships free in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging, in about three days on average. Refills are managed in the app.

Ascend Vitality LLC, based in Sheridan, Wyoming, runs the platform and says it doesn't practice medicine itself. Independent licensed providers prescribe, and state-licensed 503A or 503B pharmacies compound the medication. Neither the providers nor the pharmacies are named. Ascend says it's available in all 50 states and D.C., and that every batch is third-party tested.

Ascend's terms are blunt: all sales are final, with no returns and no refunds except where the law requires. Clinical fees aren't refunded once the evaluation is done, and if you start an intake and then decide not to go ahead, professional and administrative fees may still be owed.

Plans renew automatically. To avoid the next charge, your cancellation has to arrive at least five business days before the billing date. Lost or badly damaged shipments may be replaced after an investigation. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide aren't FDA-approved.
