Who Go Vida Plena may suit
Spanish-speaking patients who want GLP-1 care with Spanish-first support and no subscription to cancel.
Where the value is
- Genuinely bilingual, Spanish-first platform serving an underserved market segment
- Offers both injectable and oral GLP-1 formulations, with every dose level included at one price
- Every plan is a one-time payment that never renews on its own, from a 4-week supply up to 48 weeks
- Names its medical group, Lion MD, with two physicians and their NPI numbers, plus its six partner pharmacies
- Explicit, plain-language disclosure that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved
The tradeoffs
- The $179 and $269 rates need a 48-week supply paid up front; buying 4 weeks at a time costs $269 for the semaglutide injection and $349 to $359 for tirzepatide
- Each supply covers 4 weeks, so paying as you go means 13 charges a year, not 12
- Per-day price framing ('~$6/day') is used on the homepage, a common technique to understate the real monthly cost
- Compounded only, with no brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound option
Care in Spanish, priced by plan length
Go Vida Plena is a weight-loss program built for Spanish-speaking patients. Its website, intake and nutrition support are in Spanish, and the nutrition guidance is designed around Latino food and family life. It sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as a weekly injection or a daily oral form.
The $179 and $269 figures in its ads are twelve-month rates, and Go Vida Plena frames the year as "about $6 a day." Every plan is a single payment, and every dose is included at the same price.
| Plan | Semaglutide injection | Tirzepatide injection |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $269 | $359 |
| 3 months | $657 ($219/mo) | $927 ($309/mo) |
| 6 months | $1,194 ($199/mo) | $1,734 ($289/mo) |
| 12 months | $2,148 ($179/mo) | $3,228 ($269/mo) |
The oral semaglutide costs more than the injection: $299 for one month, down to $209 a month on a year. Oral tirzepatide is $349 for one month and matches the injection on longer plans. A "month" is a four-week supply, so a twelve-month plan ships 48 weeks of medication.
Considering Go Vida Plena?
Check the plan total, billing period and cancellation terms before you enroll. A clinician decides whether treatment is appropriate.
No automatic renewals, and no partial refunds
Plans don't renew on their own. When yours ends, you decide whether to buy another. That's helpful if you dislike subscriptions, but it cuts both ways: the refund policy says the plan price isn't prorated, and unused time is generally not refunded once a plan has started. Prescribed or shipped medication isn't refundable either.
If a provider finds you aren't eligible before any consultation, prescription or shipment has happened, Go Vida Plena may refund you within five to seven business days, possibly minus processing costs. Its pricing FAQ says you won't be charged if you don't qualify. Afterpay and Klarna can split a long plan into installments. Insurance isn't accepted, but Go Vida Plena can provide paperwork for you to seek partial reimbursement.
Who's involved in your care
Go Vida Plena is the trade name of Clínica Vida Plena, based in Hyde Park, Utah. It handles enrollment and support. CareValidate runs the telehealth platform and its network of licensed providers, and the medical group is Lion MD, led by Dr. Ana Lisa Carr, MD, and Dr. Kelly Tenbrink, MD. The first visit is by video, and the medical questionnaire takes under five minutes.
Prescriptions go to one of six compounding pharmacies listed in its FAQ, chosen by state and availability. Medication usually arrives three to seven business days after approval, with tracking by email.
Questions to ask first
- Which states? The homepage counts 10 available states, while the FAQ says it serves all 50. Confirm yours before you pay.
- Which pharmacy will fill your prescription?
- Will a dose change alter your price? The FAQ says cost can vary by formulation and dose, even though the price list says all doses are included.
- Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved.
