InstaRX Review: Price, Pros & Cons

InstaRx sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections, and each one has a single monthly price that doesn't change as your dose goes up. You don't need insurance, and InstaRx says there are no hidden fees.

Both current product pages advertise a starting $265 monthly average. Read the small print before comparing. The "starting at" price shown there is footnoted as the rate for a 12-month prepayment, so a shorter plan will cost more per month. Ask for the month-to-month total and the prepay total side by side before you choose.

InstaRx's terms say a $45 doctor consultation fee is built into the monthly price rather than billed on top. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel, and InstaRx reserves the right to change prices.

You start with a five-minute online health assessment covering your history, lifestyle and goals. A licensed provider reviews it and decides whether to prescribe. If they do, you get a plan with dosing steps, then online follow-ups and dose changes as you go.

InstaRx is a technology platform, not a medical practice. Its terms name two independent provider groups that do the prescribing: Dr Telx and MD Integrations. InstaRx says its physicians are licensed in all 50 states, and it serves all 50 states and the District of Columbia. You must be 18 or older.

InstaRx doesn't make the medication and doesn't name the pharmacy that fills it. It says its GLP-1s come only from U.S. pharmacies, with prescribing decisions made by the independent clinician. Compounded medication is not an FDA-approved finished product.

New orders placed before 2 p.m. Eastern on a business day ship the same day by overnight delivery. Later orders ship the next business day. Refills go out by ground or two-day shipping, and InstaRx says most packages arrive within 48 hours of leaving the pharmacy.

The box is plain brown, and the only marking is the company name on the label. Tracking comes by email from the pharmacy, and you can see your next shipment date under Subscriptions in your account.

InstaRx doesn't accept returns or exchanges once an order has shipped. It doesn't publish a refund rule for the period before shipping, or a deadline for canceling ahead of a renewal. Its terms also send disputes to individual arbitration in Orange County, California, unless you opt out in writing within 30 days of accepting them.

Before you pay, ask:

• What you'll pay per month if you don't prepay for 12 months.
• How many days before a renewal you need to cancel.
• Which pharmacy will fill your prescription.
• Whether you get money back if the provider doesn't prescribe.
