BeyondMD Review: Price, Pros & Cons

beyondMD is a Michigan-based telehealth practice that sells peptide and hormone programs alongside weight loss. Its weight menu lists each program with a "starting at" price:

There's also a semaglutide-with-B12 injection, priced in the intake. beyondMD doesn't publish what the price becomes at higher doses, or whether the starting figure needs a longer commitment, so ask for the price at each step of your dose plan before you pay.

The membership itself is free. beyondMD says it covers provider access and program support. The semaglutide program lists a consultation with a beyondMD provider, optional sessions with a weight-loss specialist and a certified nutritionist, coaching and accountability check-ins, and a prescription for Zofran, an anti-nausea drug.

beyondMD also runs consultation programs for brand-name Zepbound and Wegovy, starting at $129. The program covers the provider's evaluation and ongoing care. The medication is coordinated through outside pharmacies and isn't part of that figure, so ask what you'd pay for the drug itself. beyondMD offers a free insurance check on request to help you see whether your plan covers it.

Everything happens online. You complete an intake about your goals, health history and current medications, and a licensed provider reviews it and may ask for baseline labs. beyondMD names its clinicians, including John Bernard, MD, a board-certified emergency physician with about 20 years of practice, and nurse practitioners Hollie Ann Hall and Jordan Dorsey.

Once your plan is approved, medication usually arrives within three to seven business days, with tracking and instructions. Prescriptions are filled by licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacies that beyondMD doesn't name. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. beyondMD says it serves most states and that availability varies, so confirm yours during the intake. Customer service answers by phone weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern and Saturday mornings.

The refund policy is firm on two points. Consultation and evaluation fees aren't refundable once the review has started, even if the provider decides a medication isn't right for you. And once a prescription has reached the pharmacy and processing has begun, the order generally can't be canceled or refunded. That includes compounded medication made for you.

If you want to cancel, contact customer service as early as possible. Recurring programs can be stopped before the next renewal, but beyondMD warns that pharmacy work can start before the expected ship date. If medication arrives damaged, wrong or not at all, beyondMD will investigate with the pharmacy and may replace, reship, credit or refund the order. Don't mail medication back unless asked.
