The tradeoffs
- Its own arithmetic proves the 28-day cycle — $3,497 divided by thirteen is exactly $269, and nothing on the page divides cleanly by calendar months
- A year of month-to-month tirzepatide therefore costs $4,407 rather than the $4,068 per-month pricing implies
- Its semaglutide prices are identical, to the dollar at every plan length, to RxSpan MD's
- The Terms of Service name no company, no LLC and no address, and state availability is confirmed only during the intake
Prime Doctor RX bills every four weeks
Prime Doctor RX publishes its whole price list for three weight loss options before you start an intake. The month-to-month price is charged every four weeks, and medication ships on the same four-week cycle. That's 13 charges a year, not 12, so a "per month" figure here is really per four weeks.

The "from" price on the homepage is the 52-week prepay divided into monthly shares, and the footnote says so. If you pay as you go, the four-week price is what you'll see on your card. A year of month-to-month semaglutide comes to 13 charges of $249.

Who decides and who prescribes
Prime Doctor RX runs the intake, billing and coordination. The medical side, from the telehealth evaluation to prescribing, is handled by OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC. You complete a health history online, and a licensed clinician decides whether a GLP-1 fits. Paying doesn't guarantee a prescription.
Labs depend on your history. Prime Doctor RX says that in some cases labs are ordered after you start, and in others they're needed first. Visits can be live by video or phone, or asynchronous, where you post updates in the portal and a clinician replies later. Shipments are discreet, and fulfillment runs through licensed pharmacies that it doesn't name.
The company is veteran and firefighter owned and lists a Houston mailing address. Weight loss availability by state is confirmed during the intake. It also offers testosterone care, with NAD+ and sermorelin available only as add-ons to that program.
Canceling, prepay refunds and returns
To stop a month-to-month plan, cancel at least 72 hours before your next billing date, through the portal or by email. Canceling stops future renewals but doesn't reverse a charge for a period that has already started.
Prepaid plans have a refund path, but it's narrower than it sounds:
- You can ask for money back for future periods that haven't gone into medication fulfillment yet.
- A period whose medication has been ordered, prepared or shipped isn't refundable.
- Clinical services already performed may be deducted.
- The periods you used may be repriced at the month-to-month or shorter-term rate, which shrinks the refund.
Prescription medication can't be returned once it's prepared. Report damaged, wrong or warm deliveries within 48 hours.
Before you choose a plan
Do the math in four-week periods. The 52-week prepay is the lowest effective rate, but it's a large single payment, and stopping early may cost you part of the discount. If you're new to GLP-1s and unsure you'll stay on them, the 12-week prepay limits how much you commit while still pricing below month to month. Ask during intake whether labs will be ordered for you, and what they cost.
