How Ro charges
Ro bills two things separately: the Ro Body membership and the medication. The first month of membership costs $39, and Ro refunds it if you turn out not to be eligible for a GLP-1. After that the membership price depends on how far ahead you pay.

Ro sells brand-name GLP-1s only, and it publishes the cash price for each dose. That matters, because the starting price only covers the first doses.

The $199 Wegovy pen price is a limited-time offer for the first two months, at the two starting doses, for people who sign up by December 31, 2026. The Foundayo offer prices run to the same date. On the monthly membership, a Wegovy pen patient pays $348 a month to start and $498 once the dose reaches 1 mg.
What the membership includes
The Ro Body membership covers provider messaging, side-effect care and dose adjustments, regular check-ins, 1:1 health coaching, weight and dose logging, and lab testing when it's needed. It also includes an insurance concierge. Ro checks your coverage for free, handles prior authorization paperwork, and sends a covered prescription to your local pharmacy.
Insurance takes longer. Ro puts the coverage check at about two to three weeks, and says a first dose can come in under a week if you pay cash.
Things to weigh before you join
- The membership is a fixed cost. Even on the 12-month plan, it adds $74 a month to whatever your medication costs.
- Prepaying locks you in. The lower membership rates are paid upfront for three, six or twelve months.
- There's no compounded option. If brand-name cash prices are out of reach, Ro has nothing cheaper to offer.
- Insurance help is the real draw. If your plan might cover Wegovy or Zepbound, Ro will do the paperwork. If it won't, you're paying the same cash prices Ro says match the manufacturers' own programs, plus the membership.
