RxION Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

RxION Health sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections. The price is the same at every dose, so it doesn't climb as you step up. What changes the price is how many months you buy at once.

The low monthly figures are the six-month rates, paid upfront. Each price covers the telehealth consultation and the medication if you're prescribed it, plus injection supplies, step-by-step instructions and cold-pack shipping. RxION doesn't need insurance.

Brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound are also listed as separate prescription options.

There's also a separate microdose line, lower doses of compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide with glycine added, for people whose BMI is under 25.

You pick your medication and plan, then complete an online health questionnaire. A licensed provider reviews it and decides whether treatment fits. Some states require a short video visit before a prescription can be written. RxION isn't a pharmacy itself. Approved prescriptions are filled by licensed partner pharmacies, and RxION doesn't name them.

Once a prescription is approved and verified, orders usually ship within one to three business days, a little longer for compounded medication. Standard delivery takes two to five business days after shipping in the continental U.S. The box comes in plain packaging, and someone should be home to put it in the fridge. Compounded medication can't go to a PO box. RxION says its compounded batches are tested for potency, pH, sterility and endotoxins.

Pay attention to the order of events. You pay before a provider reviews you, and buying a plan doesn't guarantee approval. If you're turned down, RxION refunds the medication portion but keeps a $75 consultation fee.

Once a prescription goes to the pharmacy, the order can't be canceled, changed or refunded, whether or not it has shipped. On auto-refill plans:

• Cancel before your renewal date and nothing is charged.
• Cancel after the renewal payment but before provider review, and you get a refund less a 7.5% cancellation fee.
• After the refill prescription is issued, there's no refund.

Report a lost or damaged package within 7 days of the delivery date, and a warm or damaged cold shipment within 24 hours.
