Ivologist Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Ivologist sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as short starter programs that walk you up the first few doses, followed by maintenance plans. Each price covers the clinician review, the medication, syringes, alcohol pads and shipping.

The monthly figure is shown next to a higher crossed-out price, with the discount applied to your first order. Ivologist then quotes the monthly plan as $149 a month for semaglutide, or $447 over the 11 weeks, so read the checkout total carefully. Paying for three months up front is the lower total for both drugs.

After the starter, maintenance is $199 monthly for semaglutide and $299 monthly for tirzepatide, with cancellation permitted. Optional three-month prepayments are $547 and $847, respectively; the public medication-page data lists both choices. FSA and HSA cards work, and financing is offered.

Ivologist also runs a microdosing program for both drugs, billed quarterly, for people who want a slower, lower-dose start. A needle-free option, liposomal semaglutide, is a liquid held under the tongue from a single-use ampoule each day. It's shelf-stable, so it doesn't need a fridge, and it costs more than the injection, at $299 a month on an eight-week program.

There's also a three-month Holistic Weight Management program, $799, run by health coaches with no medication at all. You can add a GLP-1 later if a provider agrees it fits.

Ivologist started in San Antonio in 2017 as a mobile IV service and grew into a metabolic health clinic, GLP-1 programs included, in 2023. It still runs mobile IV therapy in San Antonio and El Paso, but its weight programs are online. The homepage FAQ says most U.S. states and coverage varies by treatment, while product footers say all fifty; confirm your exact medication and state. The company is Ivologist Weight Loss Center, LLC, based in Boerne, Texas.

You fill out a secure intake questionnaire, and a licensed clinician reviews it. Its providers are a mix of physicians, nurse practitioners and other clinicians employed by or contracted with Ivologist, and the site lists many of them by name and credential. Same-day appointments are offered when a provider is free, and the phone line runs seven days a week, with shorter hours on Sunday. Medication comes from licensed 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies (503A pharmacies mix each prescription for a named patient; 503B outsourcing facilities make larger batches), which Ivologist doesn't name. You're taught to inject by a video walkthrough. The injection pages also offer branded Wegovy or Zepbound access on request; those are separate from the priced compounded programs.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate. Ivologist says it will tell you before a price change takes effect, and the new rate won't apply before your next renewal. You can cancel any time from your account settings, by email or by phone, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you've paid for.

The refund rule is short. All sales are final, with one exception: if a provider decides a treatment isn't medically appropriate for you, you get back what you paid for the part that can't be provided. A three-month prepay is the lower price, but you won't get money back if you stop early, so weigh that before paying in full.
