What Embody charges
Embody sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections. Its prices are labeled as a sale: one month of semaglutide is $79 against a listed $299, and one month of tirzepatide is $129 against $349. The price stays the same as your dose goes up, as long as you stay on the same drug and plan. There's no membership fee on top.
Longer plans bring the monthly cost down a little more, and each is charged in full up front.

Who treats you and who fills it
Embody is run by Modern Metabolic Medicine, Inc., a Delaware company. It doesn't employ the prescribers. Your intake goes to OpenLoop Health, a national network of U.S.-licensed clinicians, and an OpenLoop clinician decides whether to prescribe. If they need more information, you'll be booked for a short video visit.
Embody names the four pharmacies it works with: Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy in Utah, Health Warehouse in Kentucky, Precision Medicine in New York and Triad Rx in Alabama. It doesn't say which one will fill a given order. Delivery is free and expedited.
If you already take a GLP-1 elsewhere, you can send proof of your prescription and ask to continue at the same dose. Optional care coaching is free, though the coaches aren't clinicians.
Canceling and refunds
Read Embody's refund policy before you pay, because it's strict. Every payment is final once you submit it, including a multi-month plan. Canceling stops future billing but returns nothing already paid, even for months whose medication never shipped.
The one exception is a medical disqualification. If a clinician finds you aren't eligible, you get back the unused part of what you paid, minus the cost of the consultation and provider review.
To stop the next charge, cancel at least 72 hours before your billing date through the patient portal, by email or by phone. Damaged or wrong items are replaced by the pharmacy, not refunded.
Things to check before you sign up
Embody's terms say its service is available in certain states and that support will give you the current list. Confirm your state before you pay, since a payment can't be undone. Ask which dose strengths you'll receive, too. Start with a single month unless you're sure you'll stay, because a three-, six- or twelve-month plan can't be refunded if you stop early.
