10rx Review: Price, Pros & Cons

10rx sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections, and it sells them only in three-month packages. You pay one quarterly price, upfront, for the medication you choose. 10rx says that price stays the same across every strength of that medication, so it doesn't rise if your provider raises your dose partway through. The quarterly total is $299 for semaglutide or $449 for tirzepatide, advertised as $99.67 and $149.67 monthly equivalents. There's no option to pay month by month. Ask for the quarterly total for your drug before you start the quiz, and divide by three to compare it with monthly plans elsewhere.

The package price includes the doctor's consultation, the medication, shipping and ongoing support. There's no membership fee and no insurance needed. One pharmacy choice can add cost: 10rx says Hallandale may charge an additional pharmacy fee.

10rx names three compounding pharmacies, and you choose between them. Optimal Balance Pharmacy, a Houston 503A pharmacy, and Vials RX both make semaglutide and tirzepatide with vitamin B12 added. Hallandale offers a single-ingredient version with nothing added, which 10rx calls a "pure" GLP-1. Each ships in its own insulated packaging. The medication arrives ready to use, with no mixing.

Your pharmacy can change later as pharmacies in the network get licensed in more states. Different pharmacies use different concentrations, so if your vial looks different, check the units on the label and confirm them in your patient portal before you inject.

You take a free online quiz, then meet one of 10rx's board-certified telehealth doctors. The founder, Dr. Michael Wasef, MD, is an internal medicine physician, and the site lists the other doctors in Wasef Health Physicians by name. When you check out, 10rx places a hold on your card for the full amount. It's charged only if you're approved, and released if you're not.

If you're new to compounded GLP-1s, 10rx recommends its titration plan over three months at one dose. A fixed three-month supply at your starting dose can run out early if your doctor raises the dose in month two. Delivery usually takes two to three business days, and 10rx ships to all 50 states.

Plans renew automatically until you cancel. On a first order, you have to cancel before the doctor writes the prescription. On a refill, cancel at least 48 hours before it goes to the pharmacy. A three-month plan must run its full term, so you can stop the next renewal but not the current quarter. You can cancel through the patient portal, by email or by phone.

All prescription sales are final. 10rx considers a refund or replacement only if the medication was damaged in shipping, recalled, or filled or labeled wrong.
