The tablets cost noticeably more than the shots. Oral semaglutide runs $100 a month above the injection on every plan. A separate microdose GLP-1 protocol starts at $129 a month for people who want a lower dose.
The monthly price covers the prescriber consultation, the compounded medication, ongoing monitoring, provider-reviewed refills and discreet shipping. There's no membership fee. How you start
A short questionnaire matches you to a protocol, and then you complete the medical intake online. PlexusDx says nothing is charged until a provider approves your prescription. You need to be 18 or older with a BMI of 27 or higher, or 25 or higher with a weight-related condition such as prediabetes or high blood pressure.
Providers come from an independent network of U.S.-licensed clinicians. In 45 states the intake is handled online without a call; in the other five, a live video consultation is required. Medication ships within three to five business days of approval. The semaglutide injection comes in five dose levels, from 0.25 mg to 2.0 mg a week, and your provider re-approves every refill.
Who's who behind the order
PlexusDx is a genetic-testing and wellness company, not a medical practice or pharmacy. Its own disclosure says medication and clinical fees are billed by the practice-management platform behind the prescribers, so the charge on your card may show a different name. Medication is made by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, which mix each prescription for a named patient. PlexusDx doesn't name them. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
PlexusDx doesn't sell brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound. If you'd rather have one, your provider can write a prescription you fill at a pharmacy of your choosing.
Extras and fine print
- The Precision Peptide Genetic Test is an optional $99 add-on offered after your first month. It isn't needed to start treatment.
- PlexusDx says you can cancel anytime with no fee. Ask how a cancellation on a three- or six-month plan is handled.
