Lyfe Rx Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Lyfe Rx sells two compounded GLP-1 injections at a single listed price each: compounded semaglutide, which it calls Compounded GLP-1, and compounded tirzepatide, which it calls Compounded GIP/GLP-1. Neither listing shows a dose, and Lyfe Rx doesn't publish a separate price for higher doses, so ask what happens to the price as your provider steps you up.

The three-month plan is billed as one order, $618.75 or $897.75. Lyfe Rx says there's no membership or platform fee: the listed price covers the provider review, the medication, injection supplies, messaging with the care team and free shipping. Many of its products can be paid for with an HSA or FSA card. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Lyfe Rx runs like an online store. You add the product to your cart and pay, then fill out a medical intake of about five minutes. A licensed provider reviews it, usually within about four hours by Lyfe Rx's estimate, and may ask for labs or a virtual consult. Some protocols require one.

If you're approved, a U.S.-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy fills the prescription. Lyfe Rx doesn't name the pharmacy. Orders usually ship within a few business days of approval in temperature-controlled packaging, with expedited and overnight options.

The care team is named. The medical director is John Bernard, MD, a board-certified emergency physician, with Sergio Naccarato, MD, as co-medical director, plus a group of nurse practitioners and physicians. Lyfe Rx ships to every state except Alabama. The same account sells NAD+, testosterone, sexual health products, at-home lab kits and supplements.

If a provider decides a GLP-1 isn't right for you, you aren't charged for the medication. You're refunded the product price minus a fee for the review. Its pricing page says no consultation charge is added at checkout, but its refund policy keeps a $50 intake and doctor fee, so ask which applies.

Once a prescription is filled, every sale is final. Lyfe Rx won't take back medication, even unopened, because a filled prescription can't be used for anyone else. Before it's filled, you can get a refund minus that fee. If something arrives damaged or defective, contact Lyfe Rx and it will replace the item.

You can change how often orders come, pause or cancel from your account at any time, with no phone call or cancellation fee. Cancel before the next order is processed. A charge that has already gone to the pharmacy falls under the final-sale rule.
