Peak Wellness Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Peak Wellness sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections. Pricing is flat across doses, so moving up to a higher dose doesn't change what you pay, and the medication, syringes, provider oversight and shipping are all included.

Semaglutide costs $179 in the first month, then $249 monthly. Tirzepatide’s public entry offer is $279; confirm its ongoing rate. There are three plan lengths. The monthly plan has no commitment, and its advertised price is a first-month rate, so the second month costs more. The three-month plan is billed every three months, and the six-month plan is billed once for six months at a lower monthly rate, which Peak frames as six months for the price of four. Tirzepatide starts higher than semaglutide. Ask for the renewal price of the exact plan you pick, not just the first charge.

You don't need insurance. HSA and FSA cards work, and payment plans are offered.

The intake takes five to ten minutes. At checkout you pick the medication you want, and Peak places a hold on your card rather than charging it. If the provider approves you, the charge goes through. If not, the hold drops off within five to seven days.

Forms sent between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Eastern on weekdays are usually reviewed the same day, and later ones the next day. Reviews are done by a board-certified DO from DrTelX, a provider group whose doctors are licensed in all 50 states. Peak lists the group's medical director and other clinicians by name, and emails you the name of the provider who signed off on your order.

Peak names its pharmacies. About 99% of orders go to Emerald Compounding Pharmacy in Tampa, a 503A pharmacy that compounds each prescription for one named patient. It's licensed in Florida, and Peak publishes its license number. Three other pharmacies are listed as backups.

Filling usually takes about 24 hours after approval, and every order ships FedEx next-day air in plain packaging marked fragile. Peak sends six email updates per order, and says the whole process from form to doorstep usually takes about a week.

Plans renew automatically. Cancel at least three days before the renewal processing date, by email or in your account, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Your first renewal may be charged early, and later shipments can be charged up to three days early. You can also pause or skip a month.

All sales are final. Peak doesn't refund partly used subscription periods, though its terms allow case-by-case refunds at its discretion. If you think the pharmacy filled your prescription incorrectly, contact support.
