DoctorAdam Review: Price, Pros & Cons

DoctorAdam leads with needle-free GLP-1s. Compounded semaglutide tablets start at $129 a month and compounded tirzepatide tablets at $199 a month. Those are "from" prices for the starting dose. Your doctor sets the dose after the consultation, and the price can rise with it, so look at the full dose list on the product before you check out.

DoctorAdam says the price includes the physician evaluation, the prescription, the medication and shipping, with no membership fee on top. A month of tablets is 30 tablets, one a day. The tirzepatide tablets come in 3, 5, 6, 10 and 20 mg strengths. Injectable versions are sold too, at separate prices. You don't need insurance, and DoctorAdam doesn't bill it.

One line in its FAQ gives a monthly price range that runs much higher than the product prices. Trust the figure in your cart, and ask support if the two don't match.

You pick a treatment, click Get Started and answer a short set of medical questions. A U.S. board-certified doctor reviews them, and DoctorAdam says to expect a reply within about 24 hours. Some states require a video visit or live chat first, and the doctor reaches out if yours does. You'll also be asked for a photo of yourself and your ID, which state rules require.

After sign-up you're introduced to your doctor, with a full bio. The company is based in Anaheim, California, and sells hair, sexual health, sleep and longevity products on the same account.

DoctorAdam names two compounding pharmacies: Olympia Pharmaceuticals in Orlando and Carie Boyd Pharmaceuticals in Irving, Texas. It doesn't say which one fills which drug. Its FAQ also says you can take your prescription to any licensed pharmacy instead.

Check your state carefully. Banners across the site promise delivery to all 50 states, but the FAQ's own list has 44. Alaska, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Vermont aren't on it.

The refund policy is firm. Every medication order is final once it's processed and shipped, and DoctorAdam doesn't accept returns of prescription items under any circumstances. It won't refund a package the carrier marks as delivered, and it can't cancel or change an order after it's been processed.

If you're unsure about a dose or a plan length, sort it out with your doctor before the order goes through. Ask support how to stop a recurring order and how far ahead of the next shipment you need to do it, since the policy doesn't say.
