Sprout Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Sprout sells two compounded injections, semaglutide and tirzepatide, at one price for every dose. The visit with a clinician, the medication and shipping are all inside that price. You choose between paying every four weeks or prepaying a year.

The $99 on the homepage is the prepaid-year figure. On the four-week plan you're billed 13 times a year, not 12, so a year of semaglutide comes to about $1,937. Plans renew on their own until you pause or cancel.

Sprout is not a pharmacy and doesn't employ the prescribers. Its terms name MD Integrations, a physician network, as the group whose clinicians review your intake. In 15 states, including New York, Illinois and Virginia, state law requires a live visit, and MD Integrations handles that.

Prescriptions go to one of two pharmacies Sprout names in its terms: Foothills Pharmacy or Promise Pharmacy. Most prescriptions reach the pharmacy within two business days, and orders usually ship within three to seven. Sprout doesn't name a medical director.

Sprout doesn't serve Alabama, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi or North Dakota.

Each refill needs a short check-in. After every rebill you get a new medical questionnaire, and the next shipment waits until you submit it and your clinician approves a new prescription. Your clinician decides any dose increase. If you've used a GLP-1 before and want to stay at a certain dose, say so before the first prescription is written.

You can message your clinician through the medical portal about side effects. The care team answers email and phone on weekdays, Mountain Time.

What you get back depends on how far your order has gone:

• Cancel before a provider reviews your intake and you get a full refund.
• Cancel after the review but before the prescription is sent, and you get everything back except a $50 clinical review fee.
• Once the prescription is at the pharmacy, that order isn't refundable.

To stop the next charge, cancel at least 48 hours before your billing date. To delay or pause a shipment, ask at least five business days before it ships. If you cancel a prepaid plan early, Sprout refunds the months that haven't shipped, at the per-month value of what you actually paid.

Budget for the four-week price unless you're sure you'll stay a full year. If your drug is out of stock, Sprout's policy is to ship it when stock returns rather than refund you, so a shortage can mean a gap in treatment. Report a damaged or wrong package within 24 hours of delivery, with photos, to get a replacement.
