Jyra Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Jyra Health sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide on two plan lengths, and the price doesn't change with your dose.

The lower figures in Jyra's ads are the three-month rates, and they're paid upfront. Three months costs $297 for semaglutide or $399 for tirzepatide in one charge, versus $169 or $229 on the monthly plan.

Every plan includes the provider consultation, the prescription and free express shipping. There's no membership fee, and Jyra doesn't take insurance. It does say the plans are FSA and HSA eligible. Jyra also says the price stays the same at renewal.

You fill out an online questionnaire about your health history and goals. Jyra says it takes about three minutes and costs nothing. A licensed provider reviews it and decides whether treatment fits you. Most people hear back within 24 hours, according to Jyra.

If you're prescribed, the medication ships the same day and arrives in two to five business days. The kit includes the vial, syringes, alcohol pads, a sharps container and dosing instructions. The injection is once a week. Jyra says its compounded semaglutide is made by a licensed 503A pharmacy (one that mixes each prescription for a named patient), and its homepage names VialsRX, White Label Pharmacy and Hallandale. Individual pharmacies have different state exclusions, so ask which can dispense your formulation where you live.

You can cancel at any time by email, through the support form or by phone during business hours. There's no cancellation fee. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and plans renew on their own until you cancel. If you need a break, support can pause your account for up to three months.

Refunds are case by case. If your medication hasn't shipped, you can get the medication cost back in full. If a provider decides you aren't eligible, you aren't charged for medication. Once a box has shipped, it can't be returned or refunded. Damaged or incorrect medication has to be reported within 48 hours for a replacement or refund.

• Decide on the plan length first. The three-month price only applies if you pay for all three months at once.
• Ask who fills it. Confirm your assigned pharmacy; the public page names three partners but no medical director.
• Know when support is open. The phone line and email team work Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern.
• Dose details come later. Jyra doesn't list milligram doses before you're prescribed.
