SnagRx Review: Price, Pros & Cons

SnagRx sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections. Each has one flat monthly price that covers the medication, supplies, the doctor's review and shipping, and it doesn't change as your dose goes up. There's no membership fee and no insurance billing.

Month to month, semaglutide is $99 and tirzepatide is $149. Longer plans cost less per month:

The homepage "sale" prices of $69 and $119 are the 12-month rates. They sit next to a struck-through $299 and $349 and a countdown timer, but the product pages list $99 and $149 as the one-month price. SnagRx also says the rate you start on is "locked in for life." Ask what that requires of you, such as whether it holds if you pause.

You pay before a provider sees your answers. The steps run in this order:

1. Answer a five-minute health qualifier.
2. Choose your medication.
3. Pay for the first month.
4. Log into the patient portal and finish the medical intake.
5. A provider reviews your chart, usually within 24 hours and often within five.

If you're approved, the pharmacy ships within about two business days. Prescriptions received before 2 p.m. Central go out the same day by next-day UPS in temperature-controlled packaging, and weekend orders ship Monday. For refills, you tell your provider in the portal that you're running low, and they review your dose before writing a new prescription.

The standard semaglutide plan starts at 0.25 mg a week for four weeks, then 0.5 mg for the next eight. SnagRx says its semaglutide plan includes ondansetron, an anti-nausea drug.

Medical care comes from OpenLoop Health, a network of U.S.-licensed doctors. SnagRx says it has its own medical director but doesn't name that person. It isn't a pharmacy itself. It names four 503A compounding pharmacies in its terms: Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy in Utah, Health Warehouse in Kentucky, Precision Medicine in New York and Triad Rx in Alabama. It doesn't say which one fills a given order.

SnagRx doesn't serve Louisiana, and Nebraska patients must be 19 or older.

"All sales are final" is the rule. The one exception is medical: if a provider decides you don't qualify, you're refunded for the unused part of your term.

You can cancel a month-to-month plan anytime by email, phone or the patient portal, but the request must arrive at least 72 hours before your billing date. Inside that window you're charged once more, with no refund. Multi-month and bundled plans are sold as one purchase and are non-refundable in whole and in part, so the discount comes at the cost of any way out.
