TeleZen MD Review: Price, Pros & Cons

TeleZen MD publishes monthly compounded plans at $168 for semaglutide and $268 for tirzepatide. Its quarterly plans are $297 and $597 paid upfront, advertised as $99 and $199 monthly averages. The FAQ mentions six- and twelve-month options, but the current plan cards show monthly and quarterly prices. Compare the total and supply length before choosing.

TeleZen MD says every dose is the same price. When you pick a plan, you also choose whether you want a titration plan that steps up over time or one that stays at the same dose, and you can ask your provider to change it at a check-in. New customers can take $100 off a first order with a promo code. Buy-now-pay-later is offered, and many plans are HSA and FSA eligible.

Every plan includes the physician consultation, provider monitoring, the compounded medication, syringes and alcohol swabs, and free expedited shipping. TeleZen MD also includes two programs of its own, a nutrition protocol and a mindset coaching course, plus concierge support by call or text.

You start with a free five-minute questionnaire. A licensed provider reviews it, usually within 24 hours, and if you qualify, the medication is compounded by a U.S. 503A pharmacy and shipped overnight. TeleZen MD doesn't name the pharmacy. It does name its physicians: Dr. Ozita Cooper, board certified in obesity medicine and emergency medicine, and Drs. Michael Wasef, Andrew Sakla and James Teet.

You can pause, delay or cancel future orders from your patient portal, with no contract and no membership fee. Refunds on an order you've already placed are another matter, and the rules are tight:

• You have 12 hours after ordering to cancel, by emailing support.
• If a provider has already reviewed your case, a $35 doctor visit fee is kept.
• A payment processing fee, currently 4%, is never refunded.
• Once the order is in processing, including provider approval or compounding, it's final.

If a provider decides you aren't eligible, you get your money back minus the $35 visit fee.

TeleZen MD has a weight loss guarantee for patients who stick with the program. If you don't lose any measurable weight after 180 consecutive days of full participation, you may be eligible for a refund of the medication fees from that period. The bar is no loss at all, not a target percentage, so read the participation conditions before relying on it.
