What Pause Rx charges
Pause Rx advertises compounded semaglutide starting at $199 a month and compounded tirzepatide from $249 a month. Confirm the complete dose and plan price before paying. Both prices include a free physician consultation and free shipping, and there's no insurance involved.
Brand-name drugs work differently. For Wegovy, Zepbound or the Foundayo pill, Pause Rx charges a consultation plan of $149 a month for the provider visit and follow-ups, and the medication is billed on top once you're approved. Wegovy, for example, ships through Novo Nordisk's NovoCare pharmacy. Pause Rx says its Wegovy plan covers both the pen and the pill, so your doctor can choose or switch formats at the same $149. The brand plans include at-home blood tests at the start, at six months and at twelve months.

How a visit works
You choose a treatment, answer medical questions and verify your identity, since state law requires it. A licensed provider reviews your answers, usually within 24 hours. Depending on your state, you may need a live video visit or a secure chat to finish. If you're prescribed, the order goes to the pharmacy, and Pause Rx says it ships within one to two business days of approval. Delivery takes two to five days, with no signature needed.
Pause Rx names its partners. Prescriptions are written through Beluga Health, a physician-led virtual care network. Compounded medication is filled by Rush Pharmacy in Oviedo, Florida.
Billing and refills
Pause Rx bills when your medication ships, not upfront. Each month you're notified to renew. Your provider reviews your information, and you choose whether to continue. Its FAQ says your card isn't charged automatically each month unless you process the payment yourself. Its brand-name page, though, talks about a subscription you can pause or cancel in the patient portal with no cancellation fee. Ask which applies to your plan.
Refunds
Once an order is placed, it starts processing right away and can't be changed or canceled. Medication can't be returned. After your card is charged and the package goes to the carrier, all sales are final. If a package is lost in transit, Pause Rx says it will work with the carrier and reship it.
