Avono Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Avono prices each treatment as one monthly figure and shows it on the treatment's own page before you start. There's no membership fee, no separate clinician fee and no shipping charge on top. What you see next to the treatment is what the medication order costs.

Its weight program now covers both compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, in several formats: a weekly injection, an oral capsule, an orally dissolving tablet, and a lower-dose "microdose" injection. The microdose programs are the lower-priced way in, for people whose clinician keeps them within that dose range. Semaglutide injections cost $159 a month in the microdose program or $219 for the standard program; tirzepatide is $219 or $299. Oral capsules cost $289 and $349 respectively. Microdose dissolving tablets are $219 for semaglutide and $239 for tirzepatide. These compounded formats are not FDA-approved or interchangeable with approved products. Ask the clinician which treatment, if any, is suitable.

Avono says select treatments come as monthly, three-, six- or twelve-month options, with the plan lengths and prices shown on each treatment page when offered.

You pick a treatment, then start a secure intake that asks for your health history, current medications and the treatment you want, plus a payment method. Avono places a temporary authorization on the card, which may show up as CARE VALIDATE. The charge is completed only if a clinician approves and prescribes. If you're turned down, you don't pay for the medication order.

A licensed U.S. clinician reviews your medical history, medications, allergies, goals and risk factors. They can approve what you asked for, suggest something else, ask for more information or decline. Depending on your state and treatment, the review may happen by message, or you may need a live visit.

Once approved, the prescription goes to a U.S.-licensed pharmacy partner. Avono doesn't name it. Prescriptions generally ship within two to three business days of approval, in discreet packaging, and cold-shipped when the medication needs it. Avono is LegitScript certified and runs U.S.-based support. It doesn't publish a list of states, and says availability varies by treatment and state, so check yours during intake.

Recurring plans charge your card at the interval you chose until you cancel. You have to cancel before the renewal or processing cutoff you're shown, and canceling doesn't stop an order that's already in clinical review, being compounded or shipping.

Fees aren't refundable once a provider has reviewed your intake, a prescription is issued or a pharmacy starts work. Dispensed medication can't be returned. Avono also sells hair loss, sexual health, NAD+ and sermorelin programs on the same account.
