Omzo Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Omzo is a telehealth platform that sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, both as once-weekly injections, alongside women's hormone, sexual health, hair and skin care. It prices GLP-1 treatment as a package. Each package covers the telehealth consultation, the prescription, the medication, shipping and ongoing medical support if you need it. Omzo pays the pharmacy out of that fee, so there's no separate pharmacy bill.

The first package costs the least. Omzo's terms list a lower price for the initial consultation package and a higher price for each follow-up package after it, for both semaglutide and tirzepatide. Tirzepatide costs more than semaglutide at each step. The terms list $179 initially and $299 for a follow-up GLP-1 package, or $259 initially and $399 for a follow-up tirzepatide package. They do not specify the medication supply duration, so confirm how long each package lasts before treating these as monthly costs. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and there's no insurance billing.

You start with a questionnaire about your goals, health history and lifestyle. A licensed clinician from a third-party U.S. network reviews it, and depending on your state, that review may include an online consultation. If the clinician approves treatment, the order goes to the pharmacy.

Omzo isn't a medical practice or a pharmacy itself. Its compounded medication is prepared and shipped by an independent, state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy, which Omzo doesn't name. A clinician may instead write a prescription for a brand-name drug such as Wegovy or Ozempic. In that case you usually fill it at your own pharmacy and pay its cost, though Omzo says it can fulfill brand-name orders in limited cases.

Once you're approved, the medication ships within about 48 business hours, and delivery usually takes three to five business days after that. Omzo limits sales to residents of the 50 U.S. states; confirm clinical eligibility in your state. You track progress and message your care team in the Omzo app.

Omzo refunds you in full in two cases: if a provider finds you medically ineligible at your first consultation, or if Omzo makes a billing error. If the provider finds you left out or misstated the condition that disqualifies you, the refund is refused. Once you submit the medical intake for a prescription, the order counts as processed and isn't refundable otherwise. Refund requests must be made in writing within 28 days of payment.

There's one more protection. If your medication hasn't shipped within 14 business days of your order, you can ask for a full refund whatever the status of your review.

Canceling a subscription stops future charges, but anything already charged stays charged. Once a prescription is approved and the pharmacy has processed or shipped it, the order can't be canceled or returned. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact support, and Omzo may send a replacement.

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved.
