Aurelius Health Group Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Aurelius Health Group sells one thing: a microdose GLP-1 program. That means compounded tirzepatide, or in some protocols compounded semaglutide, prescribed below the doses labeled for weight loss and adjusted by a physician as you go. The price is one monthly subscription. Your first month is $89, and every month after that is $199.

The subscription covers the initial physician consultation, a prescription review within 24 hours, the full protocol shipped from a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy, monthly physician check-ins with dose changes, and secure messaging with the care team. There are no separate consult fees and no required clinic visits. Aurelius doesn't bill insurance. Some patients use an HSA or FSA card for the visit portion, depending on their plan.

Budget for $199. The $89 is a one-time welcome rate, so a year on the program costs $2,278.

This isn't a full-dose weight-loss program, and Aurelius says so. Its pitch is tolerability: a lower dose, physician titration and a planned step-down from the start, with the goal of fewer side effects. If you're after the higher labeled doses, look elsewhere.

Protocols are grouped by goal, such as performance and cognition, metabolic health, and sleep and recovery. A physician can stack the GLP-1 with NAD+, L-carnitine, vitamin B12, magnesium or inositol. All of it is a self-given injection under the skin. There's no capsule.

Aurelius is for adults 25 and older. It won't treat people with active pancreatitis, a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, severe uncontrolled diabetes, an active eating disorder, or a pregnancy now or planned within two months.

The online intake takes about three to five minutes and covers your goals, medications, history and any past GLP-1 use. A board-certified MD or DO licensed in your state reviews it within 24 hours. If you're a fit, you get a written plan, a titration schedule and an explanation of every component. Each shipment includes the dispensing pharmacy's information, though Aurelius doesn't name its pharmacies upfront.

It says it serves most U.S. states and tells you during intake if yours isn't covered.

You can cancel anytime from the patient portal or by contacting support. Do it at least 72 hours before your next billing date, or you'll be charged for one more cycle. There's no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
