MEDVidi Review: Price, Pros & Cons

MEDVidi charges for appointments, not for medication. Its weight-loss visits are priced like this:

There's no membership and no extra fee for writing a prescription. The drug itself is a separate cost you pay at the pharmacy that fills it. MEDVidi doesn't take insurance for visits, though it lists insurance coverage help for semaglutide prescriptions. Payment may be split, with part charged when you book and the rest just before the appointment starts.

MEDVidi is mainly a mental-health practice, with ADHD, anxiety and depression care, and weight loss is one of its services. Its providers can prescribe brand-name GLP-1s, including Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro and Saxenda. They also prescribe older options such as phentermine, Qsymia, Contrave, metformin and orlistat. It doesn't sell compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide.

A prescription isn't guaranteed. Each one follows a live video visit, and the provider decides what fits. In some states, weight-loss drugs can't be prescribed online and need an in-person visit first. You also need to be in your home state at the time of the appointment.

Prescriptions go electronically to a pharmacy. Some chains and independents won't accept telehealth prescriptions, and MEDVidi's support team helps find one that will. Refill requests are usually handled the same working day, and the provider has up to 72 hours to approve and send them. Some refills need a paid follow-up visit first.

Because you're paying cash pharmacy prices for a brand-name drug, plus visit fees, check the drug's price where you'll fill it before you book.

MEDVidi's refund rules are about appointments:

• Cancel at least 8 hours ahead and the visit can be refunded.
• Cancel or reschedule later than that and you pay a $50 fee.
• Miss the appointment, or log in more than 5 minutes late, and you pay a $100 no-show fee.
• Once a visit has started, it isn't refunded.

If a pharmacy refuses to fill your prescription or is out of stock, the visit fee isn't refunded. Refund requests have to be made within 15 days of payment.

MEDVidi names the physicians on its medical team. Its homepage lists 35 states for its services, but the weight-loss page does not give a separate list, so confirm your state before booking.
