Onyx Weight Loss Clinic is a family-run telehealth practice based in Mooresville, North Carolina. It was founded by Tasha Vangile, a family nurse practitioner, and her daughter Madalyn Vangile, a registered nurse. The team lists its nurse practitioners, registered nurses and a holistic nutrition coach by name, with their backgrounds. Care is led by nurse practitioners; Onyx doesn't list a physician medical director.
It treats patients in nine states: North Carolina, Colorado, Iowa, Maine, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Virginia. If you live anywhere else, Onyx can't treat you.

Ask for the monthly price at your consultation, along with whether it changes as your dose goes up, how long you're committed for, and what happens if you stop. The FAQ also notes that insurance generally doesn't cover these drugs for people without type 2 diabetes, so plan on paying cash.
How you get started
There's no instant online checkout. You book a consultation through Onyx's scheduling site, choosing the service you want. Then you fill out an intake and consent form, which Onyx asks you to finish at least 48 hours before your appointment. The visit is by telehealth. If the nurse practitioner decides treatment fits, you get a plan built around your goals and ongoing support from the team.
Onyx offers two medication programs: a GLP-1 (the semaglutide class) and a combined GLP-1 and GIP drug (the tirzepatide class). Ask which pharmacy fills your prescription and whether it's compounded, since Onyx doesn't say.
Other services
Weight loss sits alongside hormone replacement therapy, peptides, NAD+, lipotropic B12 shots and a nutrition coaching program. If you want help with diet as well as medication, ask whether coaching is part of the weight-loss plan or billed separately.
