Mevo Health's prices and plan lengths
Mevo Health sells two medications, both weekly injections: compounded semaglutide from $199 a month and compounded tirzepatide from $259 a month. Those are "as low as" prices. Plans come in monthly, quarterly and six-month lengths, and Mevo doesn't say on its site which plan length or dose each low price belongs to. Ask before you pay what the plan you're choosing costs per month, whether it's billed upfront, and whether the price changes as your dose goes up.
Mevo is direct pay, so you don't need insurance, and its terms say federal and state health programs such as Medicare won't cover it. Treatment includes ongoing access to your provider team for questions and dose changes, plus a member community for accountability.

The doctors behind it
Mevo names the physicians who prescribe. The provider network is led by Dr. David Wasef, a board-certified internal medicine physician. Three others are listed with their specialties: Dr. Frank Suppa in family medicine, Dr. Andrew Sakla in internal medicine and Dr. Constantin Chikando in emergency medicine.
Treatment works in four steps:
- Fill in a secure online health questionnaire covering your history, current medications and goals.
- A Mevo network physician reviews it and may ask for more information before deciding.
- If you're a good candidate, the physician writes a personalized plan.
- Follow-up oversight continues, with dose adjustments as needed.
Pharmacy, states and canceling
Medications are prepared by licensed 503A U.S. compounding pharmacies, which mix each prescription for a named patient. Mevo shows logos of the pharmacies it may use, and says the one filling your order depends on where you live and what your physician decides. It doesn't tell you in advance which one.
Mevo doesn't list the states it serves. Its terms say some services are limited to certain states and that you must live in one where Mevo operates, so confirm yours during intake.
You can cancel before your next billing cycle, by email to the care team. Mevo doesn't publish a refund policy, so ask what happens to a quarterly or six-month payment if you stop early.
