Tonik Wellness Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Tonik sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide on three plan lengths: monthly, quarterly and annual. Month to month, semaglutide is $225 and tirzepatide is $349. Prepaying for a quarter lowers the monthly rate, and paying for a full year upfront lowers it the most, so compare the totals at checkout if you're confident you'll stay on treatment.

Each plan includes the medication, injection supplies, provider oversight, a dedicated concierge and the patient portal. Tonik says the plans cover a standard dose increase, but a higher-dose protocol may need an upgraded plan if your provider recommends one. Ask what that upgrade costs before you prepay for a year.

Tonik doesn't bill or accept insurance, and it won't produce reimbursement paperwork beyond a general receipt.

Tonik's process starts with an intake form and an order for lab work. You then have a call with a Tonik provider to go over your symptoms and lab results. A free introductory consult matches you with a concierge, who guides you through the labs, the provider review and the start of treatment.

The prescribing is done by independent providers affiliated with Tonik. Tonik itself isn't a medical practice or a pharmacy. Its terms say compounded prescriptions are filled by its partner mail-order pharmacies, and they name Strive Pharmacy, which runs several locations around the country. Tonik's semaglutide shop listing is marked out of stock, so confirm the drug you want is available before you book.

Every medication subscription at Tonik carries a three-month minimum commitment. You can ask to cancel at any point, but the cancellation doesn't take effect until those first three months are done. After that, you cancel in writing by email or through portal chat with your concierge, before the next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.

If a refill has already gone to the pharmacy when your request arrives, it still ships and is still billed.

Tonik's refund policy is strict. Consultations, telehealth visits and lab interpretations are non-refundable once a provider starts reviewing your intake. Medication can't be refunded once the order reaches the pharmacy, and subscription charges are final once the billing cycle runs. There are no partial-month refunds, and supplies such as syringes and vials are final sale.

If a shipment arrives damaged, wrong or incomplete, email Tonik within 48 hours of delivery with photos. Tonik warns that disputing a charge for care already given may end your care. Disputes otherwise go to binding individual arbitration. Tonik doesn't publish the states it serves, so check yours first.
