Better Med Spa sells GLP-1 treatment as a membership, priced by drug and by how long you commit:

A liraglutide program is also listed at $550 a month on the one-month plan. The "starting at" figure on the treatment pages is the three-month rate, so the three-month program rate is $10 less per month. The general membership terms may require a longer commitment; confirm the contract before joining.

The GLP-1 membership covers oral or injectable treatment, home delivery, a virtual visit to see whether you qualify, a virtual care guide with nutrition and fitness goals, and access to the care team for questions.

Because this is a med spa, the GLP-1 membership also carries member discounts on the spa's other services: $14 a unit for Botox or Dysport, 10% off IV and peptide therapy, $10 off B12 or NAD+ shots, 15% off retail products, and a set dollar amount off other services by price band.

The GLP-1 membership is its own plan. The Silver, Gold, Diamond and Concierge Circle tiers on the same memberships page, which run from $150 to $1,000 a month, are aesthetic memberships with banked treatment credit.

Better Med Spa's medical director is Dr. Brett Brechner, DO, a board-certified family physician. The clinic is on North Halsted Street in Chicago's Lincoln Park, and telehealth visits are open to Illinois residents only. Its treatment pages describe weekly injections with regular check-ins, dose adjustments and lab work as needed.

Better Med Spa doesn't say whether its semaglutide and tirzepatide are compounded or brand-name, and it doesn't name the pharmacy that fills them. Ask both questions before you pay.

Read the membership terms closely. They say every membership has a minimum 12-month commitment, with a $200 early termination fee if you cancel sooner, and that fees are billed monthly. The FAQ on the memberships page describes a six-month commitment that then goes month to month. Ask which applies to the GLP-1 membership, and whether choosing the one-month price still ties you in for longer.

The terms also say membership payments are final and non-refundable. Your rate is locked for the current commitment period, and Better Med Spa promises 30 days' notice before any increase. In-person appointments need 24 hours' notice to cancel, or you pay a $100 late-cancel fee, and a no-show costs $200.
