Nova MD Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Nova MD, which also calls itself Try Nova, sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, both made with B12, as weekly injections. Each comes month to month or as a three-month plan billed up front:

The lower monthly figures in Nova MD's ads need the three-month plan, paid in one charge. For tirzepatide, the three-month price also depends on which pharmacy fills it: the lower rate applies when Drug Crafters is available in your state, and the higher one when another pharmacy fills it. You pick your state on the product page to see what's offered.

Each price includes the online visit, your provider's care, the medication, supplies, free overnight shipping and support. There's no membership fee. The same account sells sermorelin, NAD+ and glutathione.

You start with a free online assessment of about five minutes. A licensed U.S. provider reviews it, usually within one business day, and decides whether to prescribe. The medical criteria come from Arora Health Group, a network of U.S.-licensed doctors named in Nova MD's disclaimers.

If you're approved, an independent licensed U.S. pharmacy fills the order. It typically ships in one to two business days, sometimes up to five, by free overnight delivery in discreet packaging. Refills and follow-ups are unlimited, and Nova MD says its care team answers messages the same day. Its support hours run weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern.

Nova MD is operated by JM Health Group LLC. It doesn't publish a list of the states it serves, so check yours when you start.

Plans renew automatically. To stop the next charge, cancel at least two days before your renewal date, through your patient portal or by messaging the team there. If you asked in time and Nova MD misses it, you get that renewal refunded in full.

Timing matters for a single order too:

• Before the provider reviews it, or after approval but before the pharmacy fills it, you get a refund, minus a $25 doctor consultation fee once the doctor has approved it.
• After the pharmacy fills it, the order can't be canceled or refunded, unless it still hasn't shipped after ten days.
• After it ships, it's final, since prescriptions can't be returned.

If your package goes missing, Nova MD sends a replacement. If a reaction is traced to the medication, it may offer a replacement, credit or partial refund at its discretion.

• Decide between monthly and three months before checkout. The lower rate means paying for three months at once.
• For tirzepatide, check which pharmacy is available in your state, since it changes the price.
• There's no brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound, and compounded drugs aren't FDA-approved.
