Brand-name drugs and insurance
MedLeanRx's physicians also prescribe Wegovy (pill and pen), Zepbound and the Foundayo pill. On that track, the $99 monthly fee covers the clinical care, and the medication is a separate cost that isn't published. If your plan might cover a brand-name GLP-1, the clinic can evaluate you for coverage based on conditions such as obesity, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol or sleep apnea. Coverage depends on your insurer.
How it works
You answer a short online assessment, under five minutes, with no appointment. A licensed physician reviews your health history, BMI and goals, and MedLeanRx says reviews are done within 12 hours. If you're approved, the medication ships free to your home in temperature-controlled packaging. Someone needs to be there to receive it. Follow-up check-ins track your progress and adjust your dose.
The supervising physician is Dr. Johnson Uzor, MD, who has a bio page on the site. MedLeanRx doesn't name the pharmacy that compounds its medication.
No refunds
MedLeanRx's terms are blunt: all sales are final. Payment is taken before any service, and paying doesn't guarantee you'll be approved or prescribed anything. There's a strict no-refund policy for consultations, provider reviews, subscription fees, administrative fees, membership fees and services already provided. That includes the case where the physician decides not to prescribe.
The site does say you can cancel anytime. That stops future charges. It won't get money back for anything already paid.

- Ask for the price at your expected maintenance dose before paying.
- Since the visit fee isn't refundable even if you're turned down, make sure you meet the basic criteria first.
