Nuform Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Nuform's GLP-1s are sold as prepaid kits that cover several months at once, and there's no month-to-month option. The monthly figures it advertises are the kit price spread over the kit's length.

Starter kits include supplies and the dose increases you'll need as you step up. So does the 6.5-month tirzepatide kit; the other maintenance kits list supplies only. Nuform says each kit is billed in increments of its plan length, so expect the kit total to be charged when the kit is ordered, and confirm that at checkout.

The homepage separately advertises a one-time $170 physician fee, while the refund policy calls the physician fee annual. Neither reconciles it with the GLP-1 kit prices, so confirm whether it applies and how often it is charged. Nuform doesn't take insurance. It also sells a Lipo-Mic B12 injection kit at $360 for four months.

Nuform calls its products a "GLP vitamin blend" and a "GLP+GIP vitamin blend." These are compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide mixed with vitamins, and the exact formula can vary with your provider's recommendation. Nuform says the medications come from U.S.-based 503A compounding pharmacies, meaning pharmacies that mix each prescription for a named patient. It doesn't name them. It also says semaglutide is available as an oral form as well as an injection.

Nuform is a physician-founded practice based in Troy, Michigan. Its co-founders are Dr. Christopher Elia, a DO, and Romario Yousif, a physician assistant, and the clinical team also includes a sports medicine physician and a registered nurse.

The intake form takes about three minutes. A health specialist contacts you within 24 to 48 hours, and you then meet your assigned provider and specialist, who build your plan and handle every check-in after that. Medication ships to your door, usually within one to ten business days, and your team follows up every four weeks. Nuform also offers a lab panel of 57 biomarkers if you want blood work alongside treatment.

Nuform doesn't publish a list of the states it serves. Its terms say services may not be available in every state, so check yours at intake.

Every medication order is final once it's placed with the pharmacy, and dispensed medication can't be returned. Since a kit covers several months, that means you're committed to the whole kit once it's ordered. Blood work can be refunded up to the point the draw is done. If you're unhappy with how treatment is going, Nuform says to contact your health specialist to adjust the plan rather than expect money back. Disputes go to individual arbitration in Michigan under the terms.
