What altRx charges
altRx charges $89 a month for compounded semaglutide and $149 for compounded tirzepatide, with the same price at every dose. Its banners count down to a price rise, but the deadlines have passed with the price unchanged, so treat $89 and $149 as the going rate and don't let the clock rush you.
altRx says there's no membership fee and no insurance requirement. The price is meant to cover the provider consultation, your dosing plan, the medication and delivery. Brand-name Zepbound, Wegovy and Ozempic are also offered, at much higher prices. Zepbound is listed at $1,249 a month.

How treatment works
You start with a two-minute online assessment. A licensed provider then reviews it, either over live video or by reviewing your answers without a call, depending on your state's telehealth rules. If treatment is approved, the prescription goes to a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy in the altRx network. Medication comes in a multi-dose vial.
Delivery usually takes four to five business days. Semaglutide typically starts at 0.25 mg a week for four weeks and is raised from there. altRx names three of its physicians: Dr. David Mansour, Dr. Ana Lisa Carr and Dr. Kelly Tenbrink. Support runs through email and a 24/7 help line. You must be 18 or older.
All sales are final
This is the part to read before you pay. altRx's refund policy says every payment is final and non-refundable once it's made. That includes single months, multi-month bundles and payments for plans you never used. Skipping the intake or never filling the prescription doesn't earn a refund either.
There's one exception. If a provider decides you aren't medically eligible, altRx cancels your plan and refunds the unused part, minus the cost of any consultation or review already done.
You can cancel anytime by email, phone or the patient portal. The request has to arrive at least 72 hours before your next billing date. Inside that window you'll be charged one more cycle. Multi-month plans can't be partly refunded, even for months when nothing shipped.
