Zappy Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Zappy Health sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide with no membership fee and no insurance. The advertised "from" prices belong to a starter pack for people new to GLP-1s, paid three months upfront and offered only in some states. Everyone else pays one of the regular rates, which are the same at every dose.

On the multi-month plans, every vial ships together in one box. That keeps the per-month price down, but you're holding six months of medication you've already paid for. The starter packs begin at the lowest dose, 0.25 mg for semaglutide and 2.5 mg for tirzepatide.

Zappy can also prescribe Wegovy and Zepbound, either through your insurance or self-pay. On the self-pay route, Zappy charges a monthly care plan and the drug is bought separately from the manufacturer's own pharmacy program. For Wegovy, the care plan is $99 a month, and Zappy estimates the medication at about $499 a month through NovoCare. For Zepbound, it puts the medication at $349 to $649 a month through LillyDirect, plus the care plan. The Wegovy pill is offered too.

You complete an online eligibility check, and a licensed provider reviews it. If you're prescribed, the medication comes from a state-licensed pharmacy in Zappy's network, which it doesn't name, and ships to your door.

Zappy bundles a no-cost membership with its plans. It lists video provider visits, an accountability coach, weekly support groups, mental health counseling, one-on-one dietitian visits, live Zoom workouts and a GLP-1 fitness app, with meal prep as an optional paid add-on. It serves adults in eligible states but doesn't publish the list, so check yours at the start. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Zappy's refund rules hinge on the pharmacy's progress:

• Before the pharmacy processes your medication: you can cancel for a refund.
• After it's processed but before a tracking number exists: you're refunded, minus a $30 restocking fee.
• Once a tracking number is assigned: no refund. Zappy can pause future charges and shipments.

To cancel, send written notice to support by email. On a three- or six-month plan everything ships at once, so the refund window closes early. Zappy says monthly plans can be paused or canceled anytime.
