Heally Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Heally publishes "starting at" prices rather than a full price list. Semaglutide starts at $149 a month, and Heally ties that figure to the once-daily semaglutide pill. Tirzepatide starts at $299 a month, and Heally says the final cost depends on the form and dose your doctor prescribes. One of its overview pages shows a lower tirzepatide starting figure, so ask for the exact price at your consultation.

There's no membership and no subscription fee. The doctor consultation is free, and you pay only when you order medication. Heally doesn't take insurance, but it accepts HSA and FSA cards. About 48 hours before your appointment, Heally places an authorization hold on your card. It says you're only charged if a doctor approves you.

Heally leans on brand-name drugs. Its semaglutide page lists Wegovy pens, the Wegovy pill, Ozempic and Rybelsus, and its tirzepatide page covers Zepbound and Mounjaro. Current Wegovy injection self-pay starts at $199, and the $149 headline is the brand-name Wegovy pill starter dose. The $299 tirzepatide figure is now explicitly Zepbound, rather than a compounded quote. Its doctors can also prescribe compounded versions when they think it's appropriate, and compounded liraglutide and metformin are on the menu too.

The catch is that Heally doesn't publish separate prices for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, or a price for each dose. If you want a compounded drug, ask what it costs at your dose before you agree to anything.

You answer a short health questionnaire and book a 15-minute video visit. Heally says same-day slots are available, and its doctors work from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, whatever your time zone. Care is provided by HLY Medical Group PA, and Heally names several of its physicians, including Dr. Jason Hechtman and Dr. Kimberlee Coleman.

If you qualify, the doctor writes the prescription the same day and sends it to a pharmacy. Heally says medication ships in temperature-controlled packaging within 24 to 48 hours. Follow-up visits and dose changes happen online. If you're already on a GLP-1 elsewhere, the doctor can pick up from your current dose.

Heally describes itself as pay-per-order, and it says you can push back a refill date whenever you like. Its FAQ adds that refills are scheduled automatically until your program ends or you cancel. So check your refill date in the portal and move it if you're not ready for the next box.

Heally's terms say some services are sold as subscriptions that renew automatically, and a renewal can be charged up to two days before the next period starts. You can cancel from your account or by emailing support, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. There are no refunds for a partly used period. Heally isn't a pharmacy itself, and its terms say pricing, shipping and refills for the medication are handled by the pharmacy that fills it.
