Better U's homepage leads with at-home ketamine therapy and holistic psychiatry, and it runs a weight-loss program alongside them. Its GLP-1 pricing works differently from an all-in subscription. You pay Better U $150 for the clinical appointment, and the medication is billed separately by the pharmacy that fills it.

Each GLP-1 package, whether Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro, carries the same $150 clinical fee. The program itself is described as starting at $150 a month, covering clinical guidance, a review of your metabolic labs, and wellness and nutrition coaching. Labs and medication are extra. Better U doesn't take insurance for its own fee, and you can pay one month at a time or set up automatic billing.

Because the drug is billed by your pharmacy, your real monthly cost depends on what that pharmacy charges and whether your insurance covers the medication. Get a quote from the pharmacy before your visit.

Better U's clinicians can prescribe brand-name GLP-1s such as Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro, plus metformin, and other medications like orlistat, acarbose and naltrexone when they're medically appropriate. The weight-loss pages don't show compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide as a package, though Better U's own checkout still sells them at $298 and $397 a month with the medication and the consultation included. If that's what you want, ask before you book.

The prescription goes to a pharmacy you choose. Some offer same-day pickup, and others ship by UPS or FedEx on their own schedule.

You start with a two-minute eligibility quiz, then choose a package and fill out a medical intake and health history form. A licensed clinician reviews it and builds a plan, and all appointments and chart reviews happen online. After that you get a dedicated support team in the member portal, progress tracking and live chat in the companion app, and coaching on habits.

Better U isn't nationwide. Its weight-loss FAQ lists 21 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. A shorter list elsewhere on the same page leaves out a few of those, so confirm yours before you pay the appointment fee.

For ongoing prescriptions or to stop automatic billing, Better U asks you to email or call its support team. It doesn't publish a refund policy for the $150 fee on its weight-loss pages, so ask what happens if a clinician decides a GLP-1 isn't right for you.
