Metabolyz Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Metabolyz doesn't publish its prices. Its FAQ says pricing is reviewed during your consultation, in the context of your protocol and program length, and that it doesn't put rates on public pages. So you'll need to go through the consultation before you know what semaglutide or tirzepatide will cost you.

What it does say is how you'll be billed. Plans are a monthly membership that bundles the medical evaluation, ongoing supervision and coaching, with free shipping and no insurance involved. Its terms say a recurring order is charged right away and then every 30 days until you cancel, with an email reminder five to seven days before each charge. Ask for the full monthly figure at your expected dose, and how long a program lasts, before you agree to anything.

Metabolyz offers three compounded GLP-1 programs, each a weekly injection:

• Semaglutide, stepping up from 0.25 mg in weeks one to four to 1.7 to 2.4 mg from week 13.
• Tirzepatide, starting at 2.5 mg and rising as high as 15 mg.
• A microdose program, from 0.05 mg up to 0.25 mg, aimed at body composition rather than fast weight loss.

Every program pairs the medication with coaching in nutrition, movement, sleep and stress, plus structured check-ins. You can message your provider and coach directly between visits, and support takes calls and texts. Several of its program pages still carry leftover template text that reads "protocol, placeholder," so ask your care team to walk you through your own plan in writing.

Metabolyz is a platform run by The Westview Drive Co Inc. It doesn't practice medicine itself. It connects you with independent, U.S. board-certified providers, who review your consultation and decide whether to prescribe. Neither the providers nor a medical director are named. Metabolyz says it operates in all 50 states.

Medication is made by partner compounding pharmacies, which Metabolyz describes as licensed 503A and 503B U.S. pharmacies. 503A pharmacies mix each prescription for a named patient, while 503B facilities make larger batches. It doesn't name them. Orders ship cold in temperature-controlled packaging.

If you aren't medically approved, Metabolyz says no treatment charge is processed. Otherwise the rules are tight. You can cancel a prescription order within 24 hours of placing it, by email, as long as the provider network hasn't received it yet. After that, consultations, medical visits and processed prescriptions are non-refundable.

Refunds are only issued if the order hasn't shipped, if the provider declines to prescribe, or if a pharmacist can't verify the prescription. Report a wrong or damaged item within 48 hours of delivery. Disputes go to binding individual arbitration.
