Two bills: the visit and the drug
Amazon One Medical's online weight care is called On-Demand Care, and it charges for the clinician's time separately from the medication. Care starts at $39. The medication is extra, and so is any lab work. Amazon is plain about this: the care price never includes the prescription.
On-Demand Care is cash only. It doesn't take insurance and doesn't handle prior authorizations. You can send the receipt to your insurer yourself, but Amazon makes no promise you'll be reimbursed.

Check the plan total, billing period and cancellation terms before you enroll. A clinician decides whether treatment is appropriate.
What the medication costs
Providers here prescribe brand-name GLP-1s only: Wegovy and Zepbound injections, plus the Wegovy and Foundayo pills. They won't write a prescription for a compounded drug. If you're on one now, they can help you move to a standard medication instead.
Amazon Pharmacy shows its prices upfront. A 30-day supply of the starting dose of the Foundayo pill or the Wegovy pill is listed at $149, but only with a manufacturer coupon if you qualify, against list prices of $648.90 and $1,348.80. Higher doses and the injectable pens cost more. You'll see the price for your dose once you've finished the eligibility questions. Coupons can't be stacked with Prime prescription savings or discount cards. You can also fill the prescription at any pharmacy you like.
Who qualifies, and the lab requirement
The online program is for adults aged 18 to 64 who meet the FDA's criteria for GLP-1 treatment and don't have diabetes. You'll need recent lab results showing creatinine, eGFR and a fasting glucose, or an A1c in place of the glucose. If you don't have them, you buy the tests yourself from a consumer lab, and that cost is on you.
If your intake shows you can't be treated online, Amazon says it will tell you why and cancel the treatment without charging you.
What happens after you're treated
Each On-Demand treatment comes with 14 days of messaging with the care team. Use that window for dose questions, side effects or pharmacy problems. After 14 days, any change means buying a new treatment, so ongoing care is a series of paid visits rather than a membership. Anytime messaging isn't offered in every state.
If you'd rather use insurance, Amazon points you to Scheduled Visits with a One Medical primary care provider. That route can include lab orders and prior authorization, but it's meant for people who live near a One Medical office. A One Medical membership doesn't cover On-Demand weight care.
