Potere Health MD Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Potere Health MD sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide by the vial, paid upfront, rather than as a monthly subscription. Semaglutide is $239 for a 10 mg vial and tirzepatide is $399 for a 60 mg vial. At standard starting doses, each vial lasts about 12 weeks. That's where its advertised monthly equivalents come from: about $80 a month for semaglutide and about $135 a month for tirzepatide.

Two things follow from that. First, you pay for roughly three months at once. Second, the monthly equivalent only holds at starter doses. A vial runs out faster at higher doses, so your real monthly cost goes up as your dose does. Ask Dr. Silva's office what you'll spend per month at the dose you're likely to reach.

The price covers physician care, treatment management, ongoing clinical support and the compounded medication. There's no monthly membership fee and no subscription. The first consultation is free. Potere's providers can also prescribe brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound when appropriate, priced separately.

Potere is a physician-led clinic in St. George, Utah. It treats patients only within Utah, either in the clinic or by telehealth anywhere in the state, including Salt Lake County and Cedar City. If you live outside Utah, you can't be treated here.

The physician and medical director is Dr. Joshua Silva, MD, who trained in occupational and environmental medicine at the University of Utah. Patients stay with the same doctor throughout, for dose changes, side effects, nutrition guidance and maintenance planning. Potere offers microdosing and twice-weekly dosing when they fit. Same-day appointments are available.

Baseline labs aren't required to start, though Potere can order them if you'd like. Compounded medication comes from U.S.-licensed pharmacies, including LegitScript-certified ones, and Potere says each batch comes with a certificate of analysis for purity and potency. It doesn't name the pharmacies.

Medication and supplies ship free. In the Salt Lake City area, next-day delivery is available for most patients seen before 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
