Who Rila may suit

Patients comparing injection and tablet options who can obtain a drug-specific quote and clarify the six-month commitment before enrolling.

Where the value is

  • Offers compounded injections and dissolving tablets for both medications
  • Names DrTelX and EPIQ Scripts, Foothills Professional Pharmacy and Emerald Pharmacy
  • Terms state service in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., subject to eligibility

The tradeoffs

  • The $198 injection and $217 tablet floors are shared across drugs and require a six-month commitment
  • A full semaglutide- or tirzepatide-specific plan total is not published
  • Refund policy describes monthly automatic renewal; confirm obligations under the advertised commitment
  • Cancel at least 72 hours before the next billing date
  • Charges for a started cycle and dispensed medication are generally non-refundable

A shared starting price is not your drug quote

Rila offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections or dissolving tablets. Its advertised starting price is $198 a month for injections and $217 for tablets, each with a six-month commitment. Those figures cover a category containing both drugs. They do not establish a separate semaglutide price, tirzepatide price or full plan total.

Ask for a quote that identifies the medication, formulation, dose, supply length and amount charged at each renewal. Confirm what happens if your dose changes or you stop before six months. The shared starting figure alone is not enough to budget for a year.

Rila says shipping, ongoing provider check-ins and messaging are included. It accepts FSA and HSA cards, though reimbursement depends on your account's rules. Compounded medication is not FDA-approved; a dissolving compounded tablet is a different product from an FDA-approved brand-name pill.

Considering Rila?

Check the plan total, billing period and cancellation terms before you enroll. A clinician decides whether treatment is appropriate.

Who reviews it and who sends it

Rila is the trading name of BJE Equity LLC, based in American Fork, Utah. It is a platform connecting patients with independent providers and pharmacies, rather than a medical practice or pharmacy itself.

Clinical care is provided through DrTelX. Rila names EPIQ Scripts, Foothills Professional Pharmacy and Emerald Pharmacy as dispensing partners. That list does not identify which one will fill your prescription, so ask when your treatment is approved.

You complete an online assessment and a licensed provider reviews it. The provider decides whether treatment is appropriate and can adjust your plan through follow-up and messaging. Rila's terms advertise service in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., while distinguishing states where an online questionnaire is sufficient from those requiring a live consultation. Medication availability also depends on state rules and clinical eligibility.

Clarify the commitment before subscribing

The refund policy describes an automatically renewing monthly subscription, while the advertised prices require a six-month commitment. Get the terms of that commitment in writing before enrolling, including any remaining balance if you cancel early.

Rila says you are not charged if the initial provider review finds you ineligible; an authorization or collected amount is released or refunded. Once a billing cycle begins, charges are generally non-refundable, and dispensed medication cannot be returned. Medical disqualification can qualify for a refund of the unused, undelivered portion of the most recent cycle.

To stop the next renewal, contact support at least 72 hours before the billing date. Damaged or incorrect medication should be reported within seven days and is handled by replacement rather than a cash refund.
