Maven Clinic built its name as a women's and family health benefit offered through employers, but its GLP-1 Care program is now open to anyone who pays directly. It works on two separate bills.
The first is the membership: $39 for the first month, then $150 a month. Some sign-up pages also offer lower monthly rates if you prepay 3, 6 or 12 months. The membership covers your care, not the drug.
The second is the medication, billed by your pharmacy. Maven prescribes only FDA-approved, brand-name GLP-1s, and its self-pay prices start at:

What the membership includes
Your care team is made up of clinicians who specialize in metabolic and hormone health. You can message them or book video visits as often as you need, and they handle dose changes, refills and side effects. One consultation each with a nutrition coach and a strength coach is included, and you can book more. Through Maven's wider virtual clinic you can also see OB-GYNs, mental health providers and other specialists, paid as you go.
The program leans into women's health. The assessment asks about your hormonal history, life stage and conditions such as PCOS or perimenopause, and the same team can prescribe hormone therapy if you need it.
Insurance, HSA and getting the prescription
Maven will look at whether your insurance covers the medication. With coverage, it says the cost can be as low as $25 a month, though weight-loss coverage varies a lot by plan. Without coverage, you pay the self-pay prices above. Maven lists the medication as HSA and FSA eligible.
A clinician reviews your assessment before your first visit and decides whether a GLP-1 fits. The prescription goes to your pharmacy, or ships to you for some medications. Paying for the membership doesn't guarantee a prescription.
