Florida Weight Loss MD is the online arm of Florida Surgery & Weight Loss Center, a physician-led practice in Hollywood, Florida. It treats Florida residents only, by secure telehealth anywhere in the state or in person at the Hollywood clinic.

Care starts with a $79 medical and prescription evaluation. That fee covers the visit, not the medication. The practice says medication, lab work and pharmacy charges are billed separately from the consultation, and that the evaluation doesn't guarantee a prescription.

For GLP-1 medication itself, the price depends on what's prescribed and how you pay. The practice publishes a separate self-pay program for compounded tirzepatide, with current monthly starts of $179 for semaglutide and $279 for tirzepatide. Separate longer supplies include $399 for three months of semaglutide, $449 for ten weeks of tirzepatide and $749 for twenty weeks of tirzepatide. The clinic calls the last option five months when advertising $149 a month, although twenty weeks is shorter than five calendar months. There are options from a single month up to that longer supply, and a lower monthly equivalent on the longest one. Ask for the exact program price in writing after your evaluation, since the practice says dose, supply and eligibility can change the final figure.

A provider reviews your BMI, medical history, current medications, past weight-loss treatment and goals. The safety screen asks about pregnancy plans, thyroid cancer history, pancreatitis, gallbladder or kidney problems, diabetes medications and any upcoming surgery. Lab work is ordered case by case rather than as a fixed panel.

If treatment is appropriate, you get product-specific instructions, help coordinating with a pharmacy and a follow-up plan. Support is available in English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian. The center's medical care is led by Dr. Sergey Terushkin, MD, FACS, a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon.

The practice works with many insurance plans for medical and surgical services, and its team will check your benefits and help with prior authorization where a plan requires it. Coverage isn't guaranteed. Patients without coverage can use self-pay pricing, and third-party financing is available for qualifying care, subject to the lender's approval.

The practice is careful to separate compounded drugs from brand-name ones. Its pages say compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of any brand-name product.
