BiltRx Review: Price, Pros & Cons

BiltRx lists compounded tirzepatide at $129 a month. Compounded semaglutide is $81 a month before the separate membership, consultation and shipping fees. Brand-name drugs sit on the same menu at near-retail cash prices: Mounjaro and Zepbound at $1,499 a month, Ozempic at $1,449 and Wegovy at $1,849.

Those medication prices aren't the whole bill. BiltRx's FAQ says it charges a $9.99 monthly membership, and that consultation fees and medication are billed separately. Its semaglutide page adds that consultation and shipping apply on top. BiltRx doesn't publish the consultation fee or the shipping charge, so ask for both before you pay.

The $9.99 membership includes care coordination, priority support and member-only savings on supplements. It doesn't include your medication or your consult. BiltRx also runs a free insurance check for brand-name drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy and Zepbound, and offers buy-now-pay-later installments at checkout.

BiltRx is a broad health shop, not a weight-loss specialist. The same account sells testosterone, hormone therapy, NAD+, glutathione and hair-loss care.

You create an account and fill out a short health assessment. A licensed U.S. provider then reviews it and holds a phone or video consultation. If you're prescribed a GLP-1, it's mailed to you.

BiltRx names its compounding pharmacies. Prescriptions go to one of its third-party 503A pharmacies, Southend Pharmacy or Boothwyn Pharmacy, and ship to your address. A 503A pharmacy mixes each prescription for a named patient. BiltRx says most orders are processed in one to three business days and arrive three to seven business days after approval. For brand-name drugs, you can sometimes ask to have the prescription sent to a local pharmacy instead, at your own cost.

Medication can be bought as an auto-renewing subscription. You can cancel by email, by phone or in your account, but you need to do it at least two days before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. BiltRx doesn't refund partly used periods, though it says it may on a case-by-case basis. Your first renewal can also be charged early.

• Ask what the consultation and shipping fees are, since they're billed apart from the monthly price.
• Ask whether the price holds as your dose rises.
• Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved, and BiltRx labels them that way.
