RxPros Review: Price, Pros & Cons

RxPros advertises compounded semaglutide at $99.99 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $144.97 a month, and the price doesn't change with your dose. Semaglutide comes in strengths from 0.25 mg to 2.5 mg and tirzepatide from 2.5 mg to 15 mg, all at the same price. The fee covers the doctor visit, the medication, overnight shipping and ongoing care, with no membership fee and no insurance billing.

Read the small print next to those numbers. RxPros' comparison chart labels them as starting prices paid annually, and a footnote mentions a first-month introductory discount for new patients and savings when you pay quarterly. In other words, the monthly figure depends on how you pay. Ask for the exact charge for your first order and for each renewal before you check out.

Every order ships a three-month supply, with syringes and alcohol swabs. You can add Zofran for nausea, or extra B12, after checkout.

The homepage says you can cancel your subscription anytime, but the payment terms add a condition. GLP-1 programs carry a three-month minimum commitment, because three months of medication is dispensed up front. That applies even if you pay in monthly installments. The installments are interest-free with no credit check.

You can cancel through your dashboard only after the minimum term ends, and that's six or twelve months if you chose a longer plan. Cancel early, and RxPros charges a fee equal to the full retail monthly price for the months left in the commitment. Plans renew automatically after that.

• If the provider declines to prescribe, you get a full refund with no fee.
• Once a prescription is issued and sent to the pharmacy, the order is final, whether or not it has shipped.
• Changing to a different medication after the prescription has gone to the pharmacy costs a $150 reprocessing fee.
• A wrong product has to be reported within seven days of delivery.

RxPros also warns that a chargeback filed without contacting it first can bring a $199 fee.

You fill out a medical form, which RxPros says takes about 15 minutes, then consult online with a licensed provider. RxPros says approval usually comes within 24 hours and medication can arrive in as little as three days, shipped overnight in cold packs. Its semaglutide is compounded with B12, and its tirzepatide is listed with B6, though another of its pages describes a glycine and B12 version, so ask which one you'll get.

A proprietary system picks the pharmacy from a group of 503A compounding pharmacies, which mix each prescription for a named patient, based on your location, volume, shipping time and price. RxPros doesn't name them and can't promise which one fills your order. Its terms say you can ask to send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choosing instead; email support before you complete the order. The company is RX PROS LLC, with a mailing address in Sheridan, Wyoming.
