Klarity Health Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Klarity connects patients with providers across all 50 states. It is a booking marketplace, not a GLP-1 company with one monthly price. You pick an independent provider, pay for each visit, and pay for any medication separately at the pharmacy that fills it. There's no membership and no subscription to cancel.

Klarity’s homepage lists general self-pay visits from $49, while its dedicated weight-loss page starts at $51. Its weight-loss page estimates a weight-loss visit at $50 to $60, depending on where you live, and says follow-ups happen at least monthly. Each of those is a separate charge, so budget for a visit fee every month on top of the drug.

The medication is where the range gets wide. Klarity's own estimate for a GLP-1 plan runs from $25 to $1,500 a month, depending on your insurance and the pharmacy. That spread is the honest answer: what you pay for the drug depends almost entirely on whether a plan covers it.

You choose your provider from profiles that list credentials, specialties and ratings, and you see the same person at every visit. Providers on the platform include MDs, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Klarity says they're independent practitioners with their own clinical judgment, so a prescription isn't guaranteed.

If you're prescribed a GLP-1, the provider can send it to any pharmacy you choose. Some states require at least one in-person visit before a provider can prescribe, and lab work, if your provider wants it, may mean a trip to a lab. Labs aren't included in the visit fee and are billed by the lab.

Klarity says it accepts more than 400 insurance plans, but acceptance is set provider by provider. Check the provider's profile before you book. HSA and FSA cards work.

For the medication itself, coverage depends on your plan, and many plans require prior authorization for weight-loss drugs. Your provider can handle that paperwork. Klarity also points to manufacturer savings cards and patient assistance programs as ways to bring the cost down.

Between visits you can message your provider and Klarity's patient support team around the clock. Klarity lists side-effect management and help learning to inject as part of the care.

Because fees are charged per service, there's nothing recurring to cancel. You can cancel an upcoming appointment in the portal or through support, and it's fully refunded if you cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment time.
