AbundRX Review: Price, Pros & Cons

AbundRX offers two compounded options. Semaglutide-based care starts at $99 and tirzepatide-based care starts at $149. Its FAQ says programs begin at those figures and may cover the provider review, care planning, follow-up support and the medication if it's prescribed. It also says the final price can vary with the treatment path your provider chooses.

What neither figure tells you is how long it covers. There's no month, dose or supply amount printed beside either price, and the intake form advertises a discount on your first month, which suggests later months may cost more. Before you pay, ask what the second month costs and what dose that price assumes.

You start with a short online health intake. A licensed provider reviews it, and your state's rules decide whether that review needs an online consultation. If you're approved, the order goes to a licensed pharmacy, and you get a tracking number once it ships.

AbundRX says delivery usually takes three to five business days after the pharmacy ships, and most patients have their medication four to seven business days after approval. Expedited delivery is free. One useful promise sits in its shipping policy: if your medication hasn't shipped within 14 days of your order, you can ask for a refund whatever the status of your medical review.

The terms also say you can send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice. Email support before you finish your order if you want to do that.

You can cancel the subscription at any time, by email or through the chat in your patient portal. The request has to arrive at least 72 hours before your next billing date. If it's later than that, you're charged for the next cycle and the cancellation takes effect after it. Service continues to the end of the cycle you've paid for.

Once your card is charged and the package is handed to the carrier, the sale is final, since prescription drugs can't be returned. If a package is lost in transit, AbundRX says it will reship it. Report damaged medication to the patient care team.

• The pharmacy. AbundRX says it works with multiple U.S. pharmacies but doesn't name them. Ask which one will fill yours.
• Your state. It doesn't publish a list of states it serves.
• Insurance. It's cash pay. Its terms say you can't submit a claim for its telehealth services to Medicare or any other payer.
• The company. The site is run by Abundant Wellness Corp, with a mailing address in West Palm Beach, Florida, and shows a LegitScript certification badge.
• Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved.
