Risen Labs Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Risen Labs publishes one fee: $120 for the consultation. It's charged only after a provider approves you for treatment, and once it's charged it isn't refundable, since it pays for the provider's time.

The medication is a separate charge, and Risen Labs doesn't list its price for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide anywhere on its site. Payment for the drug is collected when the pharmacy fills the prescription. Ask during your video visit what the medication will cost each month, whether that changes as your dose goes up, and whether refills are billed automatically. Nothing is charged at the intake stage.

Risen Labs doesn't mention insurance.

Risen Labs is available to patients in two states, New York and Colorado. If you live anywhere else, you can't use it.

It offers two GLP-1s, both compounded and both weekly injections: semaglutide and tirzepatide. There's no brand-name or oral option. The only other program is testosterone therapy for men.

Risen Labs won't prescribe from a questionnaire alone. The process runs in three steps:

1. Fill out an online medical history intake. No payment is taken.
2. A licensed provider reviews it and meets you on a live video call. You show a government-issued photo ID on camera, and the provider reviews your history and any lab results.
3. If treatment is appropriate, the provider writes the prescription, and Olympia Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy, prepares it and ships it to you with tracking.

There's no separate patient portal. You reach your provider through secure messaging and follow-up video visits, and you can request your records in writing. Prescribers are independent licensed providers, and none is named on the site.

Risen Labs LLC is a Texas company formed in May 2026. It says its mailing address is a virtual mailbox and that it has no physical clinic. Its footer links to LegitScript's checker for the site.

If you're on a recurring plan, you can cancel anytime by emailing the administrative team at least 72 hours before your next processing date. Medication can't be returned once it leaves the pharmacy. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide aren't FDA-approved.
