Actin Review: Price, Pros & Cons

Actin sells compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections, and it publishes the prices on each product page before you start the questionnaire. Each drug comes on three plan lengths: one month, three months and six months. The longer the plan, the lower the monthly rate, and the "starting at" figure in Actin's ads is the six-month rate. Tirzepatide costs more than semaglutide at every plan length.

There's no membership fee. The price covers the medication, dose adjustments as needed, wipes and syringes, and shipping, with free 48-hour delivery available. HSA and FSA cards work.

Actin also sells a lower-dose GLP-1 "microdose" plan made with semaglutide and B12, priced the same at every dose. Check the total at checkout for the plan length you choose, and ask whether a longer plan is billed up front.

Actin is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy or a medical practice. You answer a free three-minute questionnaire, and a licensed provider reviews it and decides whether treatment fits. Medical care is provided by Beluga Health, P.A., a Texas medical group. If you're prescribed, the order is filled by one of three compounding pharmacies named on the product page: The Pharmacy Hub in Miami Gardens, Florida, GreenwichRX in Tomball, Texas, or Hallandale Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Actin says it works only with state-licensed compounding pharmacies and that every batch is third-party tested for potency, sterility, endotoxins and pH. After you start, you can message your provider, get dose changes, and reach support around the clock.

Some services are available only in certain states. Actin doesn't publish a state list, so confirm yours during the questionnaire.

Plans renew automatically at the interval you pick at checkout. Actin's marketing says you can skip or cancel at any time, and its terms let you cancel through your account or by contacting support. A cancellation takes effect the day after your current subscription period ends, so you'll still receive what you've paid for.

The refund terms are strict. They say all sales are final and that fees, including subscription fees, aren't refundable in whole or in part. Actin also reserves the right to change recurring prices. Choose a short plan first if you aren't sure how you'll tolerate the medication.
